Purpose

The purpose of the SPICE Council is to provide guidance and advice to the HSC Security Office in efforts to maintain and support the HSC Security Program for Information and Computing Environment (SPICE) program, including new provisions and updates to the SPICE policies and standards. The council is under the oversight of the HSC Information Services Advisory Council (ISAC). The SPICE Council also advises the HSC leadership when concerns, disputes, and occurrences of non-compliance arise that relate to information security. The SPICE Council meets monthly.
