- UF College of Nursing is a major provider of BSN/RNs in the state. (Peer-reviewed national studies demonstrate that BSN-prepared nurses have positive impact on mortality rate of patients.)

- Graduates consistently exceed national and state pass rates on the N-CLEX RN licensure exam, averaging pass rates above 94%.
Patient Care / Outreach
- GatorSHADE™ program has reached more than 6,500 children and 81,000 adults to educate on skin cancer prevention.
- First nursing faculty practice plan in Florida. Currently provides care in over 15 locations and supports 9 faculty positions.
- Nurse-managed practice in Archer, Florida; providing primary, psychiatric – mental health and community health care for underserved Populations.
- Collaborative agreement with Nursing Education program at Medical University of Gdansk, Poland with student and faculty exchanges.
Research
- New Blue Cross and Blue Shield Center with College of PHHP to focus on patient safety and health policy
- Endowed Chairs to lead research in aging, clinical excellence and cancer care.
- Funded interdisciplinary research programs focused on health disparities, family mental health, aging and rehabilitation.
