to place it in the Start Menu under Programs).
IMPORTANT: Before loading the new version of HostEx, launch HIS in the old version.
At the Top right part of the Emulator screen should be a heading "Port:
TH1Lxxxx". That is necessary for printing. Record it, and after then install,
open HIS. Go to Options -> Edit Session Profile. Then in the Session Profile
window in the Settings Group area, open Session and select Host. In the right
hand area, the fourth field down is for LU Name, put the TH1Lxxxx number in
there. Select OK, then go to File, Save Session Profile, and select OK. If you
want, you can then Disconnect and re Connect under the file menu to make sure
the LU took. (It will pop up at the top right hand corner of the window).
To get the older version of IDX: It's excatly the same as setting up a shortcut
for HIS, except that it is in the VT folder instead of the 3270 folder.
