How do I update virus scan at the Archer Clinic?
There are now two CDs designated for Archer Clinic now. At least
one should be located on the corkboard in C3-009B. I have given a
jewel case to Deanna so that she can mail the CD to the College of Nursing
back and forth with out damage occurring to the disk.
Steps:
1. You may need to go to NG-29 to pick up the CD from Jean in the College
of Nursing
2. Go to >www.nai.com>Download and updates now> DATs&Engines> McAfee
Total Virus Defense Update (click on) SuperDat File for v4x (DAT + Engine)>
Windows-Intel Platform Link.
3. Save Superdat to a location where you can get to it from the CD
burning machine.
4. Insert on of the previously used CDs into the Plextor drive
click on the Create CD icon
5. Click on Data
6. Click on Data CD
7. Drag the contents from the top of the C: drive to the CD ROM window
8. Click the create CD button but remember to check the option
to close CD but leave session open.
9. Then take the CD down to the College of Nursing NG-29 and send the
disk to the Archer Clinic. This would be a good time to see if the
old disk has returned.
