How do I edit web files on the Netware Cluster?

The IT Center has implemented a Netware cluster for high availability. Since our current web server implementation is capable of serving files from Netware volumes, it seems logical to consolidate all the webspaces we support on a single, highly-reliable filespace in a logical order.

More and more segments of webspace we support will be moving to this new volume, NCS_ONE_WEB. As they do, users will need to know how to access this resource.

Mapping to NCS_ONE_WEB

Users with a Netware client installed can map a drive to the NCS_ONE_WEB volume.

First, right-click on the Network Neighborhood icon and select "Novell Map Network Drive".
Next, select an available (unmapped) drive letter and then add \\web1.itc.health.ufl.edu\web as the resource to be mapped.
If you like, you can check the checkbox to always map the drive. In some client versions, this option is labeled "Reconnect on login".

Then just click on the "Map" button to finish.
