Special Needs

Please e-mail the training coordinator with any special needs or concerns prior to attending a workshop.

Here are some of the special needs that we are equipped to accommodate:

Visual Impairments

  • Low resolution (bigger items on the screen)
  • Font size of windows title bars, menus and other features
  • Magnifier
  • Scroll bar and window border size
  • Icon size
  • High contrast color schemes

    Hearing Impairments

  • Sound sentry
  • Show sounds

    Motor Needs (adjustments to the keyboard and/or mouse)

  • Sticky keys
  • Bounce keys
  • Toggle keys
  • Extra keyboard help (displays button tool tips and other instructions within certain programs)
  • Mouse keys
  • Mouse button settings (left or right handed user setting for mouse buttons)
  • Mouse speed
  • Mouse trails
