Healthnet Responsibilities
- To provide structured wiring and infrastructure equipment to support the inter and intra building computer connections for the Health Science Center.
- To provide connections with Shands Teaching Hospital, the UF Intranet, NERDC, Internet and Internet2.
- To facilitate telephone installations in the Health Science Center.
- Continuously monitor and upgrade the infrastructure.
- Install new network ports and telephone ports for the colleges.
- Plan network services for renovated areas and new construction.
